Occupational Therapist - Currently Hiring

Location: South Australia (SA) or Victoria (VIC) - recruiting for roles in both states.

Pay: Competitive rates above award, with higher rates based on skills and experience

Work style: Hybrid – flexible work-from-home options, telehealth and local face-to-face appointments as needed

Experience: 2–5 years’ experience preferred 

Sponsorship: May be available for exceptional candidates who meet role requirements and can obtain required registrations and clearances.

We're recruiting Occupational Therapists based in SA or VIC (roles available in both states; full-time preferred, part-time considered). You'll work with a varied caseload across the NDIS and Aged Care, supported by flexible work arrangements and great team culture.

Your role:

This is a hybrid role with work-from-home options, telehealth and local face-to-face appointments as needed. Moderate local travel is expected and negotiable depending on your location and caseload.

You may also support Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients. We provide Deaf awareness training, and interpreters can be included where required, so you can deliver accessible, high-quality therapy even if you do not have Auslan skills.

Key responsibilities include:

· Deliver client-centred occupational therapy services across NDIS and Aged Care

· Training and mentoring provided to build skills across NDIS and Aged Care schemes

· Complete functional/ADL assessments and support goal-based therapy

· Develop intervention plans and practical strategies for clients and supports

· Support assistive technology needs and recommendations (where relevant)

· Maintain timely documentation and use online systems confidently

· Liaise with families, support coordinators and other stakeholders as required

Experience and qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration (or eligible to obtain AHPRA registration)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) (VIC or SA) and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a car
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team
  • Sound technology skills and confidence working online
  • Must be based in Australia (or able to relocate by start date)

Allied Health Assistant - Not Currently Hiring

This is a client-facing role where you will utilise your technical and communication skills to assist our therapists in order to support our clients’ needs. Working in the Deaf community, you will be exposed to the full spectrum of disabilities and needs, and help our therapists to provide the best solutions for their clients' assistive technology and functional needs.


This role will provide flexibility and a supportive, friendly team environment. Some of the benefits include:

To thrive in this role, you will be motivated to help clients with a disability reach their full potential and be professional, organised, and friendly. Fluent in English. Able to sign clearly and have a moderate level of fluency in Auslan.


Have completed or are enrolled in Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant.


You will also have:

  1. Current driver’s licence and have access to a car.
  2. Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  3. NDIS Worker Screening Check (can be obtained while you start working).
  4. Be confident working either via Telehealth VRI (Video Remote Interpreting) or face-to-face with clients.
  5. Be comfortable to work remotely.
  6. Good time management skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Right to live and work in Australia.

Allied Legal Researcher and Report Writer - Not Currently Hiring

A detail-oriented Legal Researcher and Report Writer candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth legal research, analysing findings, and preparing comprehensive letters and reports (including company templates to send to the NDIS for clients) on various legal and medical issues. The ideal candidate will also be required to review company legal documentation, including various contracts, and summarising and advising Full Life on these. This role requires a strong understanding of legal terminology, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. 

  

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research using a variety of sources such as statutes, regulations, case law, and legal articles, particularly those relating to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Analyse and evaluate the gathered information to identify relevant case laws, precedents, and statutes.
  • Prepare detailed reports, letters and memos summarising research findings and analysis.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, as required, to support case preparation and strategy, particularly for AAT hearings.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the company's focus areas (NDIS).
  • Assist in drafting legal documents and other materials as required.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of research materials and sources in the company’s online filing system.


Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in law, legal studies, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience working as a legal researcher or in a similar role, such as a paralegal or other legal assistance role.
  • Strong understanding of legal research methodologies and databases.
  • Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word and have technology skills.  They will be friendly, and able to collaborate effectively within a team.
