Full Life is committed to empowering people of all abilities to live independently and confidently. Our team of skilled therapists offers comprehensive Occupational Therapy (OT) and Rehabilitation Counselling (RC) support across various disability types, aged care needs, and employment access.
Our approach:
Whether you're seeking support for hearing loss or other challenges, we’re here to help.
Our friendly therapists meet with you for a Functional Capacity Assessment to identify the challenges and barriers that affect your communication, social interaction, learning, mobility, and self-care.
We then offer personalised solutions such as capacity building plans, home modifications, and assistive technology solutions, and provide comprehensive reports ensuring that you receive the support that you need.
We provide Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Counselling services to support individuals of all ages with injuries, disabilities, or challenges that impact daily life.
Our focus is on promoting participation in everyday activities, including self-care, household tasks, school, work, leisure, and social engagement. We work with you to identify and overcome barriers, helping you live the way you want and need to. Our solutions may include skills development, assistive equipment, environmental modifications, and tailored education to empower you to achieve your goals.
Our friendly paediatric therapists will meet with you for two one-hour consultations to identify your child’s needs and discuss personalised recommendations.
Based on these recommendations, your child may be referred to external providers or other therapists within Full Life for additional support. Our therapists focus on a wide range of services to assist your child, including home assessments, assistive technology, further assessments, skills and capacity building, and ongoing therapy services.
We offer home visits to assess and identify the most suitable solutions for home modifications that promote your safety and support your participation in everyday life, particularly following injury or disability.
Our services include the coordination of required modifications, from measuring and drawing up plans to report writing, applications, and overseeing the installation process. We ensure every step is managed effectively to deliver the best possible outcomes for you or your loved ones.
Our experienced therapists specialise in Equipment Assessments, providing tailored recommendations for Assistive Technology and other equipment solutions. Whether you’re managing an injury, illness, or disability, our team will find practical solutions that make your everyday life easier and safer. We take the time to research the best options for your needs, support you in setting up your equipment, and provide training to ensure you feel confident using it. Our goal is to empower you to participate more independently and comfortably in your daily activities.
Our Functional Capacity Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of your ability to function in everyday activities at home and in the community.
We identify your strengths, challenges, and support needs across areas like self-care, mobility, and social interaction.
We provide a detailed report with tailored recommendations to enhance your independence, accessibility in community and quality of life.
Our Functional Capacity Assessment for Dual Sensory Loss is designed for individuals with both hearing and vision loss, providing a comprehensive evaluation of your ability to perform daily activities. As with the Functional Capacity Assessments, we assess areas such as self-care, mobility, communication, and social interaction. A detailed report that supports NDIS funding applications is provided and informs appropriate interventions. Our goal is to enhance your independence and quality of life with appropriate recommendations.
Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments are designed to evaluate your support needs to ensure you can live in a safe and supportive environment. We complete a comprehensive assessment of your living situation, your daily living skills, home safety, cognitive functioning, and physical capabilities. Recommendations are customised to meet your individual needs, and a detailed report that supports NDIS funding applications is provided to ensure that you can pursue your goals, build capacity and achieve safety and independence at home.
Individualised Living Options (ILO) are services provided through the NDIS to help you live independently in a safe and supported environment. It is designed to be flexible and includes both NDIS supports, and informal supports in your life.
Our ILO Assessment looks at your individual support needs and how you would want to live in the future. We assess your daily living skills, support preferences, your safety and security, as well as your cognitive, emotional and cultural well-being. A detailed report that supports NDIS funding applications is provided to ensure you have the right supports, empowering you to take control of your living situation and improve quality of life.
Our Assistive Technology and Equipment Assessment is designed to enhance your independence and quality of life. We assess your individual needs, abilities, and goals across areas such as mobility, communication, and daily living activities. We'll explore solutions, considering your home and community environments to recommend the most suitable devices and equipment. Through collaborative trials and personalised recommendations, we ensure that the selected assistive technology integrates into your daily routines. Our assessment supports NDIS funding applications and includes set up and training on equipment use.
Our Home Modification Assessment is designed to enhance your independence and safety in your living environment. We identify what you need in your home for your daily routines and assess your safety.
We then determine suitability to develop a recommendation, ranging from minor adjustments to major renovations. The resulting report supports NDIS funding applications and guides the implementation of modifications, ensuring that changes align with your goals and promote your independence at home.
