Occupational Therapist

As a growing Allied Health Provider supporting the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, as well as participants across the NDIS and Aged Care, we know that our staff are our #1 asset!

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you’ll work directly with clients and have a meaningful impact through your love for people and your clinical skills. You may support Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients (with an Auslan interpreter alongside you if required, and the option to learn Auslan in the workplace), as well as clients with a broad range of needs across the NDIS and Aged Care.


We are currently looking to hire in South Australia (SA) and Victoria (VIC), and sponsorship opportunities may be available for the right candidate.


You will also have:

  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or associated degree) 
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) 
  • A NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) (can be obtained while you start working). 
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
  • A current driver’s licence and access to a car.
  • Confidence working via telehealth and/or local face-to-face appointments as needed.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound technology skills and confidence working online.
  • The right to live and work in Australia (or eligibility for sponsorship, if applicable).

Allied Health Assistant

This is a client-facing role where you will utilise your technical and communication skills to assist our therapists in order to support our clients’ needs. Working in the Deaf community, you will be exposed to the full spectrum of disabilities and needs, and help our therapists to provide the best solutions for their clients' assistive technology and functional needs.


This role will provide flexibility and a supportive, friendly team environment. Some of the benefits include:

Fluent in English. Able to sign clearly and have a moderate level of fluency in Auslan.


Have completed or are enrolled in Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant.


You will also have:

  1. Current driver’s licence and have access to a car.

  3. NDIS Worker Screening Check (can be obtained while you start working).
  4. Be confident working either via Telehealth VRI (Video Remote Interpreting) or face-to-face with clients.
  5. Be comfortable to work remotely.
  6. Good time management skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Right to live and work in Australia.

Allied Legal Researcher and Report Writer

A detail-oriented Legal Researcher and Report Writer candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth legal research, analysing findings, and preparing comprehensive letters and reports (including company templates to send to the NDIS for clients) on various legal and medical issues. The ideal candidate will also be required to review company legal documentation, including various contracts, and summarising and advising Full Life on these. This role requires a strong understanding of legal terminology, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. 

  

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research using a variety of sources such as statutes, regulations, case law, and legal articles, particularly those relating to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Analyse and evaluate the gathered information to identify relevant case laws, precedents, and statutes.
  • Prepare detailed reports, letters and memos summarising research findings and analysis.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, as required, to support case preparation and strategy, particularly for AAT hearings.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the company's focus areas (NDIS).
  • Assist in drafting legal documents and other materials as required.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of research materials and sources in the company’s online filing system.


Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in law, legal studies, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience working as a legal researcher or in a similar role, such as a paralegal or other legal assistance role.
  • Strong understanding of legal research methodologies and databases.
  • Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word and have technology skills.  They will be friendly, and able to collaborate effectively within a team.
